We are currently seeking a Quality Control Manager to work on a U.S. Corps of Engineer project in Bahrain. A U.S. Secret Level Security Clearance is required for this position. The approximate duration of this project is six (6) months, however depending on emerging work, this duration may be extended. For the first couple of months, this individual will work out of our Arlington, VA office and then relocate to Bahrain for the remaining 4 months of the project. 


The Quality Control Manager is responsible for the effective implementation of U.S. Government contract documents in construction activities to achieve quality and safety. 


  • Prepare and execute the Quality Control Program on site
  • Inspect and perform testing coordination and control
  • Supervise workers engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure high productivity and high technical integrity
  • Formulate, document and maintain quality control standards and on-going quality control objectives
  • Manage and review the submittal register
  • Check material, design, shop and as-built drawings
  • May be required to manage a team of Quality Control Engineers
  • Other duties as assigned by the Project Manager or Operations Manager


  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Must have an active U.S. secret level security clearance or be able to obtain one quickly
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience implementing construction quality control programs for similar projects
  • Must be willing to work overseas
  • Must be proficient in project management tools and software, such as, RMS, ProjNet, SharePoint, etc.


  • International construction industry experience interacting with various diverse cultures
  • Professional Engineer Certification
  • Previous experience in US Government funded projects a plus (USACE, DOS, or OBO preferred)
  • Active Security Clearance


Reaching above and below, stooping and bending.  Lifting/carrying/moving 1 to 15 pounds of weight in the form of paper, boxes, files, etc.  Manual dexterity to operate office equipment, filing, and perform specialized skills.  Requires a high degree of concentration in a busy office environment.


Contract requires 6 days per week, 10 hours per day while physically working in Bahrain. Time spent in Arlington, VA requires 5 days per week, 8 hours per day.  Schedules may be modified to better accommodate business needs. Flexibility with hours is required.
